Jessie Lazar: Tile Workshop (July 6th, 2025)
TILE WORKSHOP
SUNDAY, JULY 7TH
12-3PM
This workshop will offer the unique opportunity to make our own back splash or tile mural. Painting on ceramics is as old as civilization itself. We will discuss different cultural referances and come up with an image or pattern that feels right for you and have several mat risk options to make your vision a reality, ready for a frame as art or install over a sink or stove.
Every participant will paint their own design that will be clear glazed and fired, making them food and kitchen safe. A custom framing option will also be available as an add-on option.
We hope you’ll join for this exciting new project with us!
Sullivan Public founder, Jessie Lazar, will be hosting the next session in her series of hand-building workshops. Jessie has been teaching ceramics for nearly 15 years at a range of NYC studios, most recently holding sold-out classes at Gasworks in Brooklyn. She loves to teach and brings new skills and techniques to each class held at Sullivan Public.
Workshop limited to 8 participants
