Ages 6–12 

In this 12-week sculpture class, students ages 6–12 explore a wide variety of materials and hands-on techniques to bring their ideas to life in three dimensions. Projects include clay creatures, wire figures, found-object assemblages, masks, nature-inspired sculptures, modular forms, moving or pop-up pieces, soft fiber creations, recycled-material art, paper architecture, experimental transformations, and collaborative group sculptures. Students are inspired by contemporary artists like Chakaia Booker, Andy Goldsworthy, Nick Cave, Tom Friedman, and Sheila Hicks, learning how imagination, experimentation, and teamwork can turn everyday materials into playful, expressive, and meaningful art.
