Afterschool Tuesday Chorus (Fall 2025)

Ages 6–12
Join beloved teacher and amazing musician, Irene Molloy Clancy, for our joyful afterschool chorus. In Chorus, students will explore vocal warmups, breathing techniques, parts, harmonies, rhythm and collaboration. All culminating in a winter concert open to families and the local community.
Repertoire draws on singing traditions from around the world including world, folk and modern circle songs. We will also experiment with rounds, chants and improvisation providing a safe space for singers to experience the joy of singing together in a group. Class will emphasize natural singing techniques which focus on releasing physical tension through breath and awareness. Every student will receive a 30-minute private vocal lesson and consultation with their own recorded warmup.
Open to singers of all levels of comfort and ability.
11 Week Session: 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, 11/18, (no class 11/25), 12/2, 12/9, 12/16
